The Maternity Unit provides services for women in the low risk category. The Maternity Unit provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and up until the birthing services were decanted to Campbelltown in February 1999, had 700 - 800 births a year. The service is currently under redevelopment and when recommissioned will be a low risk, 10 bed unit with 2 delivery rooms and a co-located Birth Centre with 2 birthing rooms. Postnatal and antenatal clinic services remain during the decanted period.
