Psychological Treatment
Children and adolescents can be taught skills to help them prevent
and manage depression. The therapy programs used in the Depression
Clinic are research based and are tailored to the individual.
In the first instance, psychological therapy is preferable to medication
for the treatment of depression as it gives clients the skills to manage
depression in the long term.
- There is no charge for service provided.
Medication
Medication can be considered for individuals whose level of depression
is severe and who dont respond to psychological therapy.
