As a Division of principle teaching and tertiary
referral hospital, the mission of Liverpool Health Service Division of Medicine is to
improve the health status of the people of South Western Sydney Area Health Service.
Vision
The Medical Division of the Liverpool Health Service is
a dynamic and proactive organisation providing high quality evidence based clinical
practice to the people of South Western Sydney Area Health Service. It will
systematically prioritise the development of future services in accordance with the
financial and physical resources allocated, and will continually review and refine all
aspects of current services. The Division promotes the conduction of clinical and
laboratory research and encourages a climate of professional enquiry and learning. The
Division values the monitoring and maintenance of professional standards, and promotes an
environment of caring, collegial professionalism amongst its staff.
