Community & Allied Health Services
The Division of Women's & Child Health works in partnership
with the Division of Community & Allied Health to ensure a
holistic multidisciplinary team approach to service development and provision. Services
are ably supported by a wide range of allied health disciplines, including social work,
physiotherapy, dietetics, ethnic health, occupational therapy, speech pathology and health
promotion. Allied health professionals allocated to the Division of Women's & Child
Health work as either single disciplines or as part of various departmental teams thereby
assisting to facilitate continuity between acute care and community follow up.
