The Occupational Therapy Department focuses on developing
and maintaining peoples skills to carry out their every day
occupations such as work/school, self care, leisure and play.
Service is provided to in-patients of the Hospital (wards
1A, 2A, 2B, A&E and ICI), Community clients in the FLGA
and paediatric clients with learning disabilities. The focus
is on early intervention, prevention and health promotion.

- Home Assessment to enhance safety
- Equipment prescription
- Home modification
- Upper Limb Splinting
- ADL Assessments
- Paediatric Groups i.e.; school readiness, handwriting
- Individual paediatric Assessments
- Equipment Loan
- Falls prevention education
- Energy conservation and work simplification

Any client with a physical disability 18 years and over
in the FLGA
- Paediatrics
Children with a learning difficulty 3- 12 years in the FLGA

Monday to Friday from 1.00pm to 3.00pm
