Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy Department provides treatment for people of all ages, from young children to the elderly, who live in the Fairfield Local Government Area. We treat a wide range of conditions for both hospital and outpatient clients. An interpreter service is available if needed.

Services Offered

  • Inpatient care for intensive care unit, medical, surgical, orthopaedic, maternity and paediatric wards.
  • Treatment of muscle or joint injuries
  • Health Promotion
  • Preventative Education
  • Plaster application and removal
  • Splinting Clinic
  • Antenatal classes
  • Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • Falls Prevention Program
  • Paediatric Outpatients
  • Community Physiotherapy (via ACOS)
  • Fitness classes
  • Joint Replacement Program

Young Children to Adults living in Fairfield local government area.

Hours of operation

  • Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday inpatient service only.
  • No Service Public Holidays.

Eligibility or entry criteria:

  • Inpatients may have a treating doctor's referral or be automatically treated for certain conditions.
  • Outpatients need a referral from their GP or specialist outlining the condition to be treated.
